Home Row:The home row is where your fingers always start and end. Each time you type a key, return that finger to its home row position. Your fingers, starting with your left pinkie and moving to the right, rest on the keys:A S D F J K L ; Your left index finger reaches for the G and your right index reaches for the H.
Bottom Row:The key under the home row key is typed with that home row finger. Your left index finger types both the V and B. Likewise, your right index finger types both the N and M.
Top Row:This time the key above the home row key is typed with that home row finger. Your left index types both the R and T while your right types the Y and U.
Capital Letters:When you need to type a capital letter, hold the SHIFT key with the pinkie key opposite the hand typing the letter. For example, to type a capital F your right pinkie would hold SHIFT key while your left index hits F. It is a bit of an awkward stretch but it will feel more natural eventually.
Spaces:Type spaces with whichever thumb feels most comfortable. Some insist that the right thumb is the way to go, but really it makes no difference.
